MP News: Dr Sunil Mantri sentenced to life imprisonment for killing driver in Narmadapuram

Narmadapuram. In the case of a painful murder in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, the court has sentenced the accused doctor to life imprisonment. In Narmadapuram, a doctor killed the driver and cut his body into more than 70 pieces. After dismembering the body, he had put it in a drum filled with acid, so that no one could come to know about his actions. Now this killer doctor has been sentenced to life imprisonment.

In the heinous murder of a driver in Narmadapuram, the court found the accused Dr. Sunil Mantri guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment. In the case, Second ADJ Himanshu Kaushal, while giving the verdict, convicted the accused Dr. Sunil Mantri under section 302 of the IPC and sentenced him to life imprisonment.

Along with this, a fine of Rs 15,000 has also been imposed. On February 4, 2019, Dr. Sunil Mantri, who was posted as Medical Officer in Itarsi, brutally murdered his own driver due to money transaction. The doctor had first injected unconsciousness to the driver Veeru to kill the driver. After that, the havan doctor had killed the driver by slitting his throat.

After killing the driver, Dr. Sunil Mantri had cut his body into more than 70 pieces with a wood-cutting saw. With the intention of erasing the evidence and hiding the murder, the doctor had put the pieces of the driver’s body in a drum filled with acid to melt it.

Some neighbors of the doctor had complained to the police about the foul smell of acid. After this, the police reached the spot and disclosed the murder. The hearing of this case continued for four years. Now the court has convicted Dr. Sunil Mantri in the murder case and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
