New Delhi. Many people had raised questions during the tournament regarding the organization of ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Now its organization is to be discussed in the annual meeting of the ICC. Before this meeting to be held in Sri Lanka, two top ICC officials have resigned from their posts.

It is being told that the reason behind this is the chaos in the organization of the ICC T20 World Cup.There is a stir even before the annual meeting of the ICC to be held in Sri Lanka from July 19. Before this meeting, two ICC officials who were responsible for the planning of the recently concluded ICC T20 World Cup have resigned.

It is being told that Events Head Chris Tetley and General Manager of Marketing and Communications Claire Furlong have resigned after questions were raised on the poor planning of the T20 World Cup held in West Indies and America last month.

Many ICC members had raised questions about the organization of the ICC T20 World Cup. In this, questions have been raised about spending more money than the budget during the competitions held in America. Associate Member Director Pankaj Khimji has written a letter to all the members demanding an audit of the expenses incurred during the event.

ICC did not get the expected response from fans from the matches held in America during the T20 World Cup. More money was spent on the matches held in America than the T20 World Cup matches held in West Indies. American cricket officials also seemed angry at their participation in the ICC World Cup, they said – Money was spent everywhere without any foresight during the tournament. T
