New Delhi: Southwest Monsoon has now advanced into rest of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, parts of Gujarat, most parts of Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. All these states are receiving heavy monsoon rains. Due to the rain, there is relief from the scorching heat, but in some states this rain is raining like a disaster.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of continuation of rain in many states of North India including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand. Let’s know the condition of the weather across the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, it may rain in the country’s capital New Delhi even today (Monday). Till June 29, rain activities will be seen in New Delhi. Talking about the temperature, today the minimum temperature can be 29 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature can be 39 degree Celsius.
At the same time, in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, today, on June 26, activities of light to moderate rain with thunder will be recorded. The maximum temperature in Lucknow can be 35 degree Celsius. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the process of rain will continue in Lucknow till June 29.
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding heavy to very heavy rains in several districts of Uttarakhand during the next 24 hours. Orange alert has been issued in Dehradun, Nainital, Champawat, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Dehradun and Tehri and Pauri districts along with heavy showers at some places. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued regarding rain in other districts.
The Meteorological Department (iMD) has issued a flood alert for the next 24 hours in Himachal Pradesh due to sudden cloudburst. There is a possibility of heavy rains in Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Shimla, Sirmaur and Mandi districts. Due to the incessant rains in the state, the possibilities of flash floods in the low-lying areas have increased. At present, due to the rains, movement has stopped on many roads across the state.
According to weather forecast Skymet, during the next 24 hours, widespread rainfall is expected over West Coast, Odisha, Jharkhand, North West India, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh. Some intense rains can also be seen in Northeast India. Some parts of East India as well as Northwest India are also likely to receive some good rains. There is a possibility of rain and storm in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh.
