However, the maximum temperature of the capital Patna was recorded at 38 degree Celsius on Sunday. According to Sourav Kumar, scientist of Patna Meteorological Center, the northern limit of southwest monsoon has advanced through entire Bihar.
Along with this, a low pressure area is located in the Bay of North West Bengal up to an average of 7.6 km above sea level. It is likely to move further towards North Odisha and Jharkhand during the next two days.
Also told that due to this there is a possibility of rain, thunder and lightning at one or two places in the northern parts of the state during the next 24 hours. At the same time, there is no possibility of any significant change in the maximum temperature during the next five days.
