New Delhi: Suryakumar Yadav, the star player of Team India and one of the world’s explosive batsmen, has done another blast. Star India batter Suryakumar Yadav on Wednesday was named as ICC T20I men’s cricketer of the year. Suryakumar Yadav has batted brilliantly in all mutual series or T20 World Cup 2022. Earlier, apart from Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav was also included in the T20 team that was formed by the ICC. Three Indian players made a place in this team, Hardik Pandya’s name was also included in it.

Suryakumar Yadav has played a total of 31 T20 International matches in the year 2022 and in this he has scored 1164 runs. During this he averaged 46.56 and Surya batted at a strike rate of 187.43. Suryakumar Yadav is the second batsman in the world to have scored more than 1000 runs in T20 Internationals in a calendar year. Suryakumar Yadav is known to deal more in sixes and fours, if he gets the ball in the slot then he does not hesitate to hit a six.
In the year 2022, he hit 68 sixes with his bat, which is the highest number of sixes hit by any player in the world in a year. Two centuries and nine half-centuries came from his bat in the year. Talking about the T20 World Cup 2022, he scored three half-centuries in his six innings and scored runs at an average of 60 and a strike rate of 189.68.
Talking about ICC’s T20 rankings, he has achieved a rating of 908. He is followed by Rizwan of Pakistan with a rating of 836. Suryakumar Yadav in particular has pushed Babar Azam so far behind that he is no longer visible anywhere. Although Suryakumar Yadav is now playing ODIs also continuously, but his performance in that is not of the same level as he is showing in T20.
Suryakumar Yadav has also been included in India’s Test squad, which has been selected for the four-Test series against Australia.
