Indore. 8 people died in a road accident near Chandan Nagar Bridge on Ghatabillod Highway under Betma police station area. According to initial information, a Bolero rammed into a parked truck. The collision was so severe that the car was completely damaged.
All the people who lost their lives in the accident are residents of Guna district. Everyone had gone to Bori village of Alirajpur to attend a program. While returning, there was a collision with an unknown vehicle at Ghatabilod late on Wednesday night. 8 people including a woman died in the accident.
The bodies of the deceased were brought to Betma Hospital. ASP Indore Rupesh Dwivedi said that 8 people have been reported dead, while one person has been injured. According to the information, the accident happened around 10.30 pm on Wednesday night.
After the accident, hearing the screams, nearby people gathered and conducted a rescue operation. People informed the police. On receiving the information, the police and administration team reached the spot. The bodies were brought to Betma Hospital by ambulance.
