New Delhi. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Mumbai Indians by 24 runs in the Indian Premier League on Friday. KKR had given a target of 170 runs to Mumbai. In response, Mumbai had scored 132 runs for 7 wickets in 18 overs. Tim David was at the crease so there was hope of victory.
But Mitchell Starc, who came in the 19th over, dashed all the hopes of Mumbai Indians by taking 3 wickets in a span of 4 balls.Mitchell Starc is the most expensive player of IPL. Kolkata Knight Riders have included him in their team by paying a huge amount of Rs 24.75 crore. There is pressure on Starc to live up to KKR’s expectations, which did not happen at least in the initial matches.

Due to this he was facing criticism. But against Mumbai Indians, this bat performed best at a time when KKR needed it badly. Therefore, at least in this match it can be said that Mitchell Starc recovered the money. When Mitchell Starc brought the 19th over of Mumbai’s innings, Tim David hit a powerful six on the first ball. Mitchell had earlier hit 3 sixes in the last over against RCB and the same memories came alive in the minds of KKR fans.
But Mitchell Starc is not included among the greats just like that. They do not make the same mistake again and again. This time Mitchell was in a different style and he got Tim David, who hit a six, caught by Shreyas Iyer on the very next ball. Starc then bowled Piyush Chawla on the third ball of the over and Coetzee on the fifth ball.
