Jaipur. The formation of 19 new districts in Rajasthan has been approved. Now their notification will be released soon. This was discussed in detail in the Ashok Gehlot cabinet meeting held on Friday evening.
The ministers also gave their suggestions regarding the demarcation of the districts. CM Gehlot said in the cabinet meeting that his notification will be issued in a day or two.
Giving information about the decisions of the cabinet after the meeting, Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas told that the government has finalized the new districts.
The government will decide the boundaries of new districts according to public sentiments. Notification of new districts can be issued late Saturday evening or till Sunday.
Now Jaipur Rural has been made a new district. At the same time, a new district will be formed in the name of Jaipur city. Dudu will be the smallest district of Rajasthan.
