Jaipur. ED has tightened its grip on those involved in children’s food scam in Rajasthan. Today, ED has simultaneously raided ten locations of Rajasthan Government’s Minister of State for Home Rajendra Yadav regarding this matter.
ED has taken this action regarding the mid day meal scam. Regarding this, ED has raided 10 locations of the state’s Minister of State for Home Yadav including Jaipur, Behror and Viratnagar. It is being told that ED is examining the documents related to the scam.
ED’s action has created a stir in the political circles. According to sources, the Enforcement Directorate team had reached Rajasthan in the morning for the raid. After that, simultaneous raids were started on other locations of Minister of State for Home Yadav including Kotputli.
In this matter, a year ago the Income Tax Department team had raided many places in Rajasthan. At that time, raids were also conducted on the premises of the Minister of State for Home. After that, now ED has tightened its grip on this matter today.
According to ED sources, nutritional food for children in the mid-day meal was purchased at rates much higher than the prescribed rates. Minister of State for Home Yadav’s companies are said to be involved in this.
Due to the scam being linked to Minister of State for Home Rajendra Yadav, this matter had become much discussed. Then there was a lot of politics regarding this at that time too. After that, once again there are chances of politics heating up in Rajasthan.
