Voting continues on 199 seats of Rajasthan, PM Modi appeals to vote

Jaipur. Voting begins for assembly elections in Rajasthan. The public seems completely ready to elect a new government. Voting started at 7 am. Voting will take place till 6 pm. Voting is to be held on 199 seats out of 200 in the state, here a direct contest is being considered between the ruling Congress and the main opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party.

Officials posted at the polling stations said that the entire team is fully prepared for voting. In view of voting, many types of facilities have been provided for the people. On the other hand, in view of this, tight security arrangements have been made in the state. In view of the voting in the state, more than 1.70 lakh security personnel have been deployed.

Director General of Police, Law and Order, Rajiv Sharma said that the police has ensured tight security arrangements for conducting fair, uninterrupted and free voting for 199 assembly constituencies of the state on Saturday and to maintain a fear-free environment.

Rajiv Sharma said that more than 70 thousand Rajasthan Police policemen, 18 thousand Rajasthan Home Guards, 2 thousand Rajasthan Border Home Guards, 15 thousand Home Guards of other states and 120 companies of RAC are deployed for the election process.

A total of more than 1,70,000 security personnel will be deployed, including companies of central paramilitary forces and armed forces of 18 other states. Voting will take place at a total of 52139 polling booths in the state. Policemen and home guards will be deployed at all polling booths.
