New Delhi. There is big news amid the excitement of Rajasthan Assembly elections. BJP core group meeting was held in New Delhi. A meeting of about five hours was held in two phases till late night of October 19 at the house of state election in-charge Prahlad Joshi.
It is said that BJP can release jumbo list. The party had announced names for 41 seats in the first list. On the other hand, the tickets of most of the sitting MLAs are confirmed, but the tickets of about a dozen sitting MLAs are in danger.
Tickets of many MLAs have been canceled due to their inactivity, statements against the party and age. BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting will be held on October 20 at 6 pm. After this meeting BJP will release the second list.
This second list will include the names of sitting MLAs. It is noteworthy that BJP had announced the names of 41 candidates in the first list. In the first list, BJP has fielded seven MPs including Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Diya Kumari. Along with this, tickets of many veterans have been canceled.
