Srinagar. Two terrorists have been killed in an encounter with security forces near Pichnad Machil area in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this, high alert has been declared from Pathankot to Jammu after receiving intelligence about the conspiracy of a major terrorist attack in Kashmir.
Along with this, instructions have been given to close all the military schools in the area. In the past, 3 suspects were seen on the India-Pakistan border near Pathankot. When stopped by BSF, they fled while firing.
Meanwhile, intelligence agencies have informed that the terrorists are preparing for a major attack in Jammu and Kashmir on or before May 5. According to the report of the intelligence agency, the terrorists are planning to target the convoy of the security forces or its institutions like the Pulwama attack.
In view of this, high alert has been declared from Pathankot to Jammu. Here the Sainik Schools located inside the Army Cantt have been closed for a day as a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, security has been tightened in the entire Jammu region. Police, SOG Army and paramilitary personnel have been deployed on the National Highway to ensure the safety of the people.
