Poonch. PDP president Mehbooba Mufti has created a political debate by anointing the Shivling of Navagraha temple in Poonch. Mehbooba Mufti had reached Poonch’s Navagraha temple two days ago on Tuesday. And also roamed around the entire temple premises. During this, he also performed Jalabhishek on the Shivling made in the temple. He also offered flowers to the idol of Yashpal Sharma built in the temple.
Since then, the BJP has called Mehbooba Mufti’s visit to the temple a drama. The party said that Mehbooba Mufti had once refused to give land for Amarnath Dham. Earlier, Mehbooba Mufti had also visited the Kheer Bhawani temple in Ganderbal in 2017. Mehbooba had visited the Bhavani temple when she was the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mehbooba said that we live in a secular country where Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb is there. He said that a very beautiful temple has been built. The people of the tail have given money openly. Someone returned the water to me there with great devotion and told me to pour water on it. If someone is saying something with such devotion, then it is not like this that he will break someone’s heart. He should be respected.
On BJP’s allegations and questions about visiting the temple, Mehbooba Mufti said that the temple was built by senior PDP leader Yashpal Sharma. His son wanted me to go inside the temple. When I went inside, someone returned me a pot full of water and with great reverence asked them to offer it to the Shivling. If I had returned it, it would have been wrong, so I offered that water.
