Poonch: A big news has come out from Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army has killed four terrorists during an encounter in Sindhara area of Poonch district.
This encounter started between security forces and terrorists from Monday night. After this, drones were deployed along with other night surveillance equipment to keep an eye on the terrorists.
After this, the encounter started once again this morning with heavy firing between the security forces and the terrorists. During this, the army killed four terrorists.
This operation was named Trinetra operation. In which Army Special Forces, Rashtriya Rifles and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel were part of the operation along with other forces.
Efforts are on to identify the killed terrorists. At the same time, the security forces busted a terrorist hideout during a search operation in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir and detained one person.
Official sources said on Tuesday that three grenades and other material were seized from his hideout. Army and Special Operations Group launched a search operation in Kala Jhula forest area.
Security was beefed up in Poonch town as part of the search operation and vehicles were being checked on the roads. Military forces had killed two terrorists on Monday near the Line of Control in Poonch, foiling an infiltration attempt.
