Srinagar: Security forces killed two terrorists early today in Alshipora of Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. One of the two terrorists killed was involved in the murder of a Kashmiri Pandit.
This encounter started late on Monday night. Which the Indian Security Force and Jammu and Kashmir Police countered with full force. Kashmir Police Zone had given information about the encounter in Alshipora through a post on X.
After the encounter, the search operation of the soldiers is going on. Let us tell you that earlier two terrorists were killed in Kulgam district. Last Wednesday i.e. on October 4, two terrorists of Hizbul Mujahideen were killed in an encounter with security forces in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that during the operation, the hiding terrorists started firing on the security forces, which was responded to effectively. The spokesperson said that in the encounter that started after this, two terrorists belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen were killed and their bodies were recovered from the spot.
He said that incriminating documents, weapons and cartridges and two rifles of AK series were recovered from the spot. Kashmir’s Additional Director General of Police Vijay Kumar termed it a big success and congratulated the joint team of police and security forces.
