Long traffic jam on Jhansi-Kanpur HN for 9 hours, 1 newborn died, 8 patients breathless

UP News: In Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, there was a 9-hour long traffic jam in which a newborn died. At the same time, the lives of 8 patients got trapped in the disaster. However, this jam was caused by overturning of a tanker filled with petroleum material.

The jam had become so long that vehicles were stuck for several kilometers and people had to face it for hours. A tanker full of petroleum products coming from Kanpur to Jhansi was overturned in Jhansi on Sunday morning.

Due to the overturning of the tanker, the traffic on the National Highway had to be stopped in terms of security. The Petroleum Department started the work of straightening the tanker.

In view of any major untoward incident, it took several hours to straighten the truck on the over bridge in front of Parichha Power Plant of Badagaon Police Station area of Jhansi-Kanpur Highway.

During this, thousands of vehicles got stuck in several kilometer long jam on Jhansi-Kanpur National Highway. Many ambulances also got stuck in the jam in the extreme humidity. In these ambulances, an ambulance was coming from Orai to Jhansi.

Who was bringing an old man to get admitted in Jhansi Medical College due to increasing stomach pain. Due to the ambulance being stuck in the jam for several hours, a child present in the ambulance died in agony.

At the same time, the condition of the elderly who was going to get treated in an ambulance also worsened. Due to the death of the child in the ambulance, there was chaos among the family members. Policemen were engaged in trying to open the jam till late night.
