Delhi/Ranchi. The case of arrest of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has started gaining momentum. Hemant Soren’s lawyer Kapil Sibal has raised the issue of his arrest before the Supreme Court. This issue is being heard in the court of the Chief Justice.
Solicitor General said in the matter that a hearing against the arrest is to be held in the High Court today i.e. Thursday at 10.30 am, on this Kapil Sibal said that we will withdraw the matter of the High Court. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear Hemant Soren’s petition. According to the information, the Supreme Court will hear this matter tomorrow i.e. on Friday.
On the other hand, there is commotion in Ranchi since the arrest of Hemant Soren. Hemant Soren is to be presented in the court today. Regarding this, security outside the court is being increased. According to the information, former CM Hemant Soren can be presented in Dinesh Rai’s court at 3 pm.
After the arrest, ED is trying to take Hemant Soren on remand. Hemant Soren shot a video just before his arrest in which he declared himself innocent. Hemant Soren is saying in the video that I am not afraid of arrest, I am the son of Shibu Soren, struggle is in my blood.
We will fight and win. There is no trace of my name anywhere in the land for which allegations are being made. Hemant Soren remained in ED custody overnight after his arrest on Wednesday. Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana Soren reached the ED office on Thursday morning.
