New Delhi. Former Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter K in the liquor scam case. Kavita has been sent to CBI custody for 3 days by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court. Kavita is already lodged in Tihar jail in a money laundering case related to this case.
CBI believes that BRS leader Kavita is an important part of this entire conspiracy. He had demanded five days’ custody from the court to investigate the case layer by layer.While presenting its arguments in the court, CBI said that K. was involved in arranging a bribe of Rs 100 crore to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) under the Delhi liquor scam.

A big businessman met Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Kejriwal ordered him to support him through liquor policy.CBI said that BRS leader Kavitha had put forward Sarath Chandra Reddy for talks on liquor policy. Dinesh Arora has given a statement that Abhishek Boinpalli had told that Rs 100 crore was given to Vijay Nair.
CBI cited the statement of government witness Dinesh Arora in support of its arguments.In its petition to get the custody of K Kavita, CBI had held a meeting with several accused at Hotel Taj regarding the liquor policy. Delhi Liquor Policy was being made from March to May 2021. Then Arun Pillai, Buchi Babu, Boinpallich were staying in Hotel Taj in Delhi.
CBI claims that K. Kavita had made a deal with a businessman in Hyderabad. Vijay Nair was in touch with Kavita. Kavita had asked the businessman to arrange an advance amount of Rs 100 crore.
