At the same time, some celebrities are also making statements against this bill who are active in politics along with films. Recently Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan has expressed his reaction regarding this bill. He is not in favor of this bill but has strongly criticized it.

On the official notification of implementation of CAA, the actor termed March 12 as a black day for India. Kamal Haasan wrote on his official Twitter account, ‘A dark day for India. A religion-based citizenship test is contrary to the secular constitutional foundation of the Republic, and I will fight against it with all my might, legally and politically.’

This means that now he will raise his voice against this bill further and he has also resolved to fight a legal battle against it. Before this, another Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay has also reacted against this bill. Vijay said in a statement on his Instagram account, ‘In an environment where all the citizens of the country live in social harmony, the implementation of any law like the Indian Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA) is not acceptable.’

Along with this, Thalapathy Vijay has appealed to his state government not to implement it in Tamil Nadu at any cost. There has been a flood of comments on this post of the actor. Vijay is now completely active in politics and he will retire from films after a few projects. If we talk about Vijay’s work front, his film Leo was released last year, which proved to be a superhit at the box office.
