Karauli: Three youths got scorched due to 11 KV line, one youth died

Karauli. In Karauli’s Gunesari village, a young man who was putting soil in the field with a tractor trolley died after coming under the grip of a high tension power line. While two youths got scorched.

The body of the deceased has been kept in the mortuary of Karauli Hospital, where the body was handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem. While the treatment of the injured is going on in a private hospital in Karauli.

ASI Harphool of Karauli Sadar police station said that Siyanand Chaturvedi’s son Suraj Chaturvedi, resident of Gunesari village, has given the report. It was told in the report that his son Jitendra son Siyanand age 20 years was putting soil in the field with a tractor trolley at 2 pm.

A broken high tension power line was lying in the field since three-four days ago. The youths were not aware of the broken line. As soon as the tractor trolley came in contact with the power line, it got electrocuted.

Driver Jitendra also got electrocuted due to electrocution in the tractor. Nearby they are pouring soil from another tractor trolley. Sudama’s son Prahlad age 20 years and Luv Kush’s son Jitmal age 20 years residents of Gunesari ran away and tried to save Jitendra.

Sudama and Luv Kush also got scorched while trying to save them. Hearing the cries of the youth, the nearby villagers reached the spot and took all the injured to a private hospital in Karauli.

From where Jitendra was referred to the district hospital of Karauli. At Karauli Hospital, the doctor declared Jitendra dead after examination. The post-mortem of the deceased has been done.

While Sudama and Luv Kush are undergoing treatment in a private hospital. The relatives and the villagers have accused the Electricity Department of negligence and have also demanded financial assistance to the relatives of the deceased.
