Ladakh. PM Narendra Modi took to task those who questioned the Agneepath scheme and said that some people are also spreading the misconception that the government brought this scheme to save pension money. I want to ask such people that the question of pension for today’s recruitments will arise after 30 years.
Why would the government take a decision for it today? It should have left it for the governments of that time. But, we have respected this decision taken by the forces because for us the security of the country is paramount, not politics.PM Narendra Modi said that those who are misleading the youth of the country… their history is a witness that they do not care about the soldiers.
These are the same people who lied about One Rank One Pension by showing Rs 500 crore. It is our government that implemented One Rank One Pension, gave more than Rs 1.25 lakh crore to ex-servicemen. These are the same people who did not build a war memorial for the martyrs even after 7 decades of independence. These are the same people who did not even provide adequate bulletproof jackets to our soldiers deployed on the border.

But the will to solve this challenge related to the security of the country was not seen earlier. Perhaps the mentality of some people was such that the army means saluting the leaders and doing parades.
