Srinagar: There is news of two terrorists being killed in a joint operation by the army and police in Kupwara, Kashmir.
Jammu and Kashmir Police said that this operation was conducted in the border area of Dobnar Machal in Kupwara district, where the army and the Kupwara police together killed two terrorists.
Police said that the area where the terrorists were holed up has been sealed and the search operation is on. However, more information has not been received from the police yet.
Last month, a terrorist was killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Karhama Kunjar area of Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir.
In the Rajouri encounter too, one terrorist was killed by the security forces, while another was reported to be injured.
