MP: Goods train coaches derailed near Katni railway station

Katni. On May 11, 4 coaches of a goods train derailed near Katni railway station in Madhya Pradesh. Cement was filled in these boxes. As soon as the information about the accident was received, railway officials and workers of the relief and rescue team reached the spot.

According to the information, the accident happened near Gayatri Nagar on Bilaspur-Katni railway line. At that time the goods train was going from Bilaspur to Manikpur. Information about the accident, the railway officials immediately reached the spot. On his instructions, the work of improvement started at the same time.

According to Railway’s area manager Ashish Rawlani, a train accident took place near Katni. Here four coaches of the goods train derailed. At the time when this accident happened, the goods train had left NKJ and was coming towards Katni.

As soon as the wagons of the goods train derailed, the trains going towards Satna and Prayagraj were stopped. There was no fuss on the movement of trains going from Bilaspur to Bhopal, Guna and Jhansi.
