New Delhi: As Rahul Gandhi posted pictures of his bike trip to Ladakh on social media, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Saturday lauded him for promoting the excellent roads built in the Himalayan region under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Actually, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju was taking a dig at the previous UPA government for not paying attention to the disorder of infrastructure in the border areas during its tenure by thanking Rahul Gandhi for a bike ride in Ladakh.
Rijiju also posted a video on X (formerly Twitter), claiming it to be from 2012. In the video, stones and boulders are seen falling on the road leading to Pangong Tso in Ladakh and many vehicles are trying to avoid it.
