Korba. The news of a painful accident has come to light from Korba district of Chhattisgarh. A fire broke out in Korba as soon as a truck and a highway collided with each other. In this accident, the drivers of both the vehicles were burnt alive.
This incident is of Thursday-Friday intervening night. The collision of both the vehicles was so strong that the debris of both the vehicles flew away. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and the fire brigade team managed to control the fire after hours of struggle.
According to the information received, this incident happened near Kabir Ashram Jhagarha on Korba Barbaspur bypass road at around 11 pm on Thursday. Highway number CG12AV6333 and rice load truck CG06GR8155 carrying ashes from Balko were coming from Barbaspur towards Korba.
That’s when this accident happened. As soon as the collision occurred, the rice loaded truck overturned and the vehicle caught fire. Both the vehicles caught fire in no time. In this accident, the driver of both the vehicles burnt to death on the spot itself.
After the accident, there were long queues of vehicles on both sides of the road. Taking immediate action by the police, the traffic was arranged smoothly. According to the information, both the deceased drivers are said to be basically residents of Bihar.
