Shock to Manish Sisodia from Supreme Court, asked to go to High Court in arrest case

New Delhi. Manish Sisodia has received a big blow from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has refused to hear Manish Sisodia’s petition. The Supreme Court said that it cannot interfere at this stage, as well as the court has advised Sisodia to file a petition in the High Court. Aam Aadmi Party’s statement has also come to the fore on not getting relief from the Supreme Court in the Manish Sisodia case.

The party has said that we respect the court. We will go to the High Court.The Supreme Court said that at this time they do not want to hear it. Sisodia has said to withdraw the petition. The court said that if the case happened in Delhi, it does not mean that you should come to the Supreme Court only, you can also go to the High Court. On this, the accused’s lawyer Singhvi said that Manish Sisodia’s name was not there in the chargesheet.

He has 18 departments. No money has been recovered. If arrests of political leaders start taking place without the proper reason for the arrest, then it will not be right. The right to arrest does not mean to arrest forcibly.The Supreme Court told Manish Sisodia’s lawyer that you have the right to appeal in the Delhi High Court. On this, Singhvi said that the court has made it clear in its decisions that the personal freedom of the people cannot be compromised.

On this, the CJI said that Vinod Dua’s case was related to the freedom of expression of a journalist (Singhvi had cited this), your case is related to the Prevention of Corruption Act. On this, Singhvi said that it is a matter of rights. Then the CJI said that the High Court is equally capable of hearing such cases.
