Bharat Gaurav tourist train caught fire, 10 killed, CM Yogi announced compensation

Lucknow: 10 people died after a fire broke out in the Bharat Gaurav tourist train going from Lucknow to Rameswaram in the early hours of Saturday. A large number of passengers from Sitapur, Hardoi and Lakhimpur Kheri of Uttar Pradesh were involved in this train.

Describing this accident as tragic, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also announced to give two lakh rupees to the families of the deceased. After this whole incident, IRCTC’s Lucknow spokesperson Navneet Goyal told that this whole incident happened on Saturday morning at 5:15 am.

IRCTC is trying to identify the dead as well as contact their families. Those who are stuck there, efforts are also being made to reach home through another train.

Apart from this, the one who is injured is also trying to contact his family. He told that IRCTC Regional Manager Ajit Kumar Sinha will issue his statement on this whole matter later in the afternoon.

He also informed that helpline numbers have been issued by the Railways. If someone’s family is in it and he wants to contact his family or get information about his loved ones, then those people can get information by calling these helpline numbers 9360552608, 9361717800, 9360552591 and 6383914736.

In this whole accident, this information is also coming out that the coach was locked at the time of the accident. After the fire broke out, the passengers tried to find the key of the lock but the key was not found.

Not only this, after a long time the passengers were able to break open the locks and take them out. This is the reason that the death of about 10 people has now been confirmed. It is being told that there were a total of 72 passengers in the bogie.
