Rajya Sabha elections in UP: 4 SP MLAs did not attend the meeting, Akhilesh made the last move

Lucknow. Voting will be held on Tuesday for 10 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh. In this election, 37 votes are required for one seat. BJP has fielded 8 candidates and Samajwadi Party has fielded 3 candidates.

BJP has eight votes less for the eighth candidate and SP has two less votes for the third candidate. Amidst all this, there is suspense regarding 4-5 MLAs of four political parties, who can spoil the game of either BJP or SP. Among the parties whose MLAs are in suspense, there are MLAs from BSP, Suhaldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and RLD.

At the same time, many MLAs remained missing from the dinner party of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday night. Amethi MLA Maharaji Devi did not come to the meeting. Maharaji Devi is the wife of former minister Gayatri Prajapati. Kalpi MLA Vinod Chaturvedi was also not seen in the meeting.

Kaushambi MLA Pooja Pal was also not seen in the dinner party. Ambedkar Nagar MLA Rakesh Pandey was also not present in the meeting and suspense remains on him. Suspense continues regarding BSP MLA Umashankar Singh.On the other hand, all the MLAs were present in the NDA meeting and dinner party. Voting is taking place on Tuesday for a total of 10 candidates.

BJP has fielded eight candidates and Samajwadi Party has fielded three candidates. The situation of voting has come because of the 8th candidate of BJP. There is doubt on the victory of the third candidate of Samajwadi Party. Before voting, both the camps are showing their strength.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has now tried his last trick and has called a meeting of all the party MLAs at the SP party office at 8 am on Tuesday. It remains to be seen how many MLAs attend this meeting.
