Lucknow: After eliminating the criminals from the state, the Yogi government has now taken up the task of making the state capital Lucknow clean. This is the reason why a unique setup is being put in place to make the capital free from garbage.
Let us tell you that garbage has become a big problem in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Everyone is troubled by the mountains of garbage and the garbage lying everywhere. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Yogi Adityanath is continuously giving orders to the officials to make the city clean.
Under this, setup of wet waste composting unit has been set up in Parshwanath Planet residential apartment complex of the city. This is a pilot project of Lucknow Smart City.
Under this, other campuses generating more than 100 kg of waste daily will be motivated to set up in-house composting units in their premises. In-house composting units will reduce the burden on the Municipal Corporation.
Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob inspected it on Saturday and told that- if all the methods to reduce the waste are adopted, then the current amount of waste generated in Lucknow city can be reduced by 50 percent.
