Raigarh. The news of a painful road accident has come to light from Raigad in Maharashtra. Eight people died and about 25 to 30 people were injured after a bus fell into a gorge in Khopoli area of Raigarh.
The SP of Raigarh said that the rescue operation is going on at the spot. It is being told that this horrific road accident happened on the old Mumbai-Pune highway. A private bus fell into a ditch at Borghat on this highway. This bus was coming from Pune to Mumbai.
There were a total of 40-45 passengers in the bus. It was told that this major accident happened due to the driver losing control of the bus. The rescue team and Raigad police have reached the spot. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
