Maharashtra: A horrific road accident has taken place in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. Here 8 innocent people died tragically due to a fierce collision between a truck and a rickshaw.
At the same time, other passengers have also been injured. The incident took place on the Dapoli-Harne road.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed grief over the road accident and announced Rs 5 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the families of each of the deceased.
The CM has also directed the administration to provide proper medical treatment to the injured at government expense.
