Mumbai. The news of a horrific road accident has come from Maharashtra. A van mowed down 17 women on the Pune-Nashik highway in Maharashtra. In this painful accident, 3 women died on the spot. 14 women have been seriously injured due to the crushing of the van.
This horrific road accident happened near Kharapudi on the Pune-Nashik highway. It is said that a van hit 17 women while crossing the road. All the injured women are being treated in private and rural hospitals of Chandauli.
It is being told that all these women were going from Pune city to the Mangal office at Shiroli in Khed taluka for cooking. These women used to cross the highway around night time. This accident happened at around 11 pm on the lane going from Pune to Nashik.
While crossing the road, a van hit these women. After crushing the women, the driver broke the road divider and fled with the van. Police is investigating further in this matter.
