Major accident on Delhi-Jaipur highway, 4 people died in tanker collision

New Delhi: A terrible accident took place on the Delhi-Jaipur highway late on Friday night. At least four people were killed when an oil tanker hit a car and a pickup van near Sidhrawali village in Gurugram on the Delhi-Jaipur highway on Friday night, police said.

According to the information received, according to Vinod Kumar, the investigating officer of Bilaspur police station, an oil tanker coming from Jaipur broke the divider and hit a car.Police said the passengers inside were probably traveling to Jaipur. Due to the CNG cylinder inside the car, a massive fire broke out and within no time there was chaos.

According to police, all three passengers died due to fire after the collision. Police further said that after colliding with the car, the oil tanker collided with a pickup van on the highway, due to which the driver of the van died on the spot.

Investigating officer Vinod Kumar said, ‘We received information about the accident on Delhi-Jaipur highway. When we reached the spot, we saw that a car had been burnt to ashes and three people had died.

Later we also came to know that a pickup van had collided with an oil tanker, due to which the driver of the van died on the spot. However, the accused driver of the oil tanker fled and efforts are on to nab him. Further investigation of this entire matter is going on.
