Road Accident: Heavy collision between ambulance and truck on NH-30, 1 died on the spot

Mandala. A massive collision took place between an ambulance and a truck in village Gwari on National Highway 30 Mandla-Jabalpur road in Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh. In the tragic accident, one person died on the spot, while 5 people including 2 women were seriously injured.

The injured have been taken to the district hospital in a police vehicle. At present all the injured are being treated. A CCTV video of this accident has also surfaced, in which the truck is seen hitting the ambulance.

It is being told about the incident that late on Saturday night, near village Gwari, located about 20 km from the district headquarters, an ambulance was going towards Chiraidongri (Railway) with a dead body from Medical College, Jabalpur.

Meanwhile, a truck was also going towards Jabalpur. Suddenly the truck hit the ambulance from the front. After the collision, the ambulance overturned and all the people in it remained trapped inside the vehicle. After this, hearing the screams of the people, the local people reached the spot.

Then the injured were taken out of the ambulance and seated in the police vehicle that reached the spot and dialed 100. Then they were immediately taken to the district hospital, where treatment of all the injured is going on. The truck driver fled from the spot after the collision. At present the truck has been seized through Tikriya Police. Kotwali police is investigating the matter.
