New Delhi. The court has given a big blow to Manish Sisodia. The former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi had filed a petition for interim bail, the hearing of which has been postponed. Manish Sisodia, arrested in a money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam, had sought interim bail to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections.

Rouse Avenue Court heard his application on Friday. The court has given one week’s time to CBI and ED to file their reply on Manish Sisodia’s application. Now Sisodia’s interim bail application will be heard on April 20.Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia had sought interim bail to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.

He had filed an application regarding this in Rouse Avenue Court. While hearing his petition, the special judge postponed the hearing till April 20, giving time to the investigating agencies ED and CBI to file their reply. Let us tell you that Manish Sisodia had recently sought bail to attend his relative’s wedding ceremony, which was accepted. Now once again he has demanded interim bail.

Manish Sisodia had filed an application in Rouse Avenue Court demanding interim bail to attend his niece’s wedding. After hearing the arguments of Manish Sisodia and the investigating agencies, the court had granted three days bail to senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia. The then Special Judge M.

Nagpal had ordered Manish Sisodia to deposit a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh and the same amount as surety. Manish Sisodia was arrested on 26 February last year, since then he is in jail. However, during this time he had demanded bail on several grounds, which was rejected by the court.
