Manish Sisodia’s difficulties increased, court extended judicial custody for 14 days in CBI case

New Delhi. While hearing the case on Monday, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of former Deputy CM and Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia for 14 days. At present, Manish Sisodia is on ED remand till March 22 in connection with the liquor scam. In such a situation, even if the ED does not get Sisodia’s remand, he will be sent to Tihar again.

Let us tell you that Manish Sisodia, who was made an accused in the liquor scam case, was arrested by the CBI on February 26 after a long interrogation. For several days, the CBI interrogated him on remand and later the court sent Sisodia to judicial custody. After this, the ED probing the money laundering cases in the liquor scam case arrested Sisodia.

On March 9, the Enforcement Directorate arrested Sisodia in Tihar Jail. Here he is locked up after being arrested in a case of alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi government’s excise policy for 2021-22. The Excise Policy 2021-22 of Delhi Government has now been cancelled.

A fortnight after she was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation in an excise policy case, former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia’s bungalow has been allotted to Atishi, who was inducted into the cabinet earlier this month.
