New Delhi. The Supreme Court has taken a big step regarding the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Mosque dispute of Mathura. The court has stayed the order of Allahabad High Court to appoint a commissioner to survey this mosque.
This order of the Supreme Court is being considered as a big blow for the Hindu side.During the hearing, Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice Dipankar Dutta’s bench questioned the Allahabad High Court’s decision to transfer all related cases for its own hearing.
The court pointed out that the matter was already under consideration in the Supreme Court, raising concerns about the High Court’s jurisdiction in transferring the case. The Supreme Court said that the Allahabad High Court can hear the matter on merits, but the High Court judges will not proceed with the appointment of the commissioner.
During this time, the Supreme Court raised questions on the arguments of the Hindu side and said that your application is very vague. You have to clearly state what you want. Apart from this, the transfer case is also pending in this court. We have to take a decision on that also.
