Tel Aviv: The families of the victims of Hamas taking hostages have now started protesting against the Benjamin Netanyahu government. People have come out on the streets with posters and banners against the government.
People are doing this demonstration in different parts of the country. People held hostage for many days have not yet reached their homes, due to which people are angry.
Now dozens of people are protesting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s handling of the crisis in solidarity with the hostages and their families.
Protester Monica Levy said, “I want Benjamin Netanyahu and all his people to return home. Because they have abandoned the residents of the South and have no interest in the lives of the residents there and are instead busy with petty politics.”
Protesters accused Netanyahu of caring more about his political survival than protecting Israeli citizens. At the same time, some Israelis have also criticized Netanyahu for not reaching out to the families of the hostages.
Hundreds of people joined a protest outside the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv started by a family member of one of the people taken hostage by Hamas.
