Mumbai. The Bombay High Court has issued guidelines to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation regarding sacrifice on Bakrid in housing societies.

In the midst of the ruckus of bringing a goat to the housing society located on Mira Road, the High Court has clearly said in its instructions that on the day of Bakrid, they should ensure that sacrifice should not be given in any house.

The petition was filed in the Bombay High Court while hearing a case in Nathani Heights, a society in Mumbai itself, in which the petitioner had urged the court to ban the offering of sacrifices in the open or in homes,

After which a bench of Justices GS Kulkarni and Jitendra Jain heard the petition. During this, he said that in places where the BMC or the Municipal Corporation has not issued a license for the sacrifice of animals, then ensure that the sacrifice is not given there. Must be known

Please tell that Bakrid or Eid-al-Adha will be celebrated today. In a special urgent hearing held after regular court hours, a division bench of Justice GS Kulkarni and Justice Jitendra Jain said that the permission for the sacrifice in the Naithani Heights Society can be given only if a license is granted by the civic body.

The court said – Action should be taken on the sacrifice in places where sacrifice is not allowed.The court said, “If the Municipal Corporation has not issued a license for slaughter of animals at the said place for tomorrow, then the municipal authorities with the assistance of police personnel shall take appropriate action as per law to stop the proposed slaughter of animals.” do.”

In fact, when a petition was filed in the court of the Chief Justice of the High Court on Wednesday evening in the Bombay High Court, he immediately constituted a two-judge bench to hear the matter.
