MP News: Bus collides head-on with dumper in Guna, 13 people burnt alive

Guna. A tragic incident unfolded in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, involving a devastating collision between a bus and a dumper. The impact caused the bus to overturn and burst into flames, resulting in the heartbreaking loss of 13 lives. Miraculously, 25 individuals managed to escape by breaking the bus’s windows.

Expressing deep sorrow over the accident, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has directed an inquiry into the bus collision. Dr. Yadav has announced a financial aid of Rs 4 lakh for the families of each deceased victim, while those injured will receive Rs 50,000 each in assistance.

Emphasizing a thorough investigation into all aspects of the incident, the Chief Minister has tasked the transport department officials with ensuring preventive measures to avert such accidents in the future.According to the information, bus number MP08P0199 left from Guna for Aaron on December 27 at around 8.30 pm. About 25 minutes later, 5 km before Bajranggarh police station, he collided with a speeding dumper.

This accident was so terrible that the bus overturned as soon as the collision occurred. As soon as it turned, it caught fire. There was shouting all around. By the time people could understand anything, the fire had taken a huge form. In this heart-wrenching accident, 12 people were burnt alive at that very moment.

It is said that this bus of Sikarwar Travels was unfit since 17 February 2022. Despite that it was being run. The surprising thing is that this bus was not even insured. The negligence of RTO has come to light in this matter. Regarding the accident, police say that 5 bodies have been recovered. Efforts are being made to identify the remaining bodies. Due to the burning of the bus, a lot of difficulty is being faced in identifying the dead bodies.
