Mumbai. In an Indigo flight coming from Dubai to Mumbai, a case of two passengers creating ruckus after drinking alcohol has come to light. Two passengers returning from work in Dubai created a ruckus after drinking alcohol and in an inebriated condition abused the flight crew and co-passengers.
In this case, both the passengers were arrested by the Mumbai Police on the complaint of the airlines.According to the information received, in the Indigo flight coming from Dubai to Mumbai, two passengers created a lot of ruckus after drinking alcohol. Both the persons were returning to India after working in Dubai for a year.
In the joy of returning home, both of them started drinking alcohol in the flight and created a lot of ruckus in the state of intoxication. After this, other passengers and crew members present in the flight raised objections and behaved rudely with them.
The Mumbai Police registered a case on the complaint of the airline staff and arrested John G D’Souza (49) of Nalasopara and Dattatreya Bapardekar (47) of Manbet in Kolhapur on Wednesday. Both the accused told the police that they had thrown half a bottle of liquor in the air to celebrate.
In view of the seriousness of the matter, the Mumbai Police has registered a case against both the accused under sections of the IPC for endangering the life and safety of others and violating relevant aircraft rules. It is said that this is the 7th such case in Mumbai.
