Mumbai Police arrested Sonu Nigam’s father for stealing from his house, Rs 70 lakh recovered

Mumbai. The Mumbai Police has solved the theft of Rs 72 lakh that happened two days ago in the house of Agam Kumar Nigam, father of famous singer Sonu Nigam. In this case, the Mumbai Police has arrested the driver of Agam Kumar Nigam.

70 lakh stolen rupees have been recovered from him. On March 22, Sonu Nigam’s sister Nikita Nigam lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police about the theft of Rs 72 lakh from her father’s house. In this complaint, he had expressed doubt on his driver only.

On the basis of suspicion, the police started searching for the driver and arrested him after two days of searching. In interrogation with the police, the accused confessed to the theft and on his tip-off, the police recovered Rs 70 lakh from Kolhapur.

DCP Anil Paraskar of Mumbai Police said that Sonu Nigam’s sister Nikita Nigam had lodged a complaint of theft. In this complaint, he had expressed doubt on the driver. Based on this, after two days of searching, we have arrested the driver. The stolen Rs 70 lakh has been recovered from Kolhapur.
