The Muslim side will raise the demand for hearing on the matter before the Supreme Court tomorrow. According to the order of Madhya Pradesh High Court, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) will start the scientific survey of the controversial Bhojshala complex of Dhar from Friday morning.ASI is going to start the scientific survey of Bhojshala complex at a time when the Model Code of Conduct for Lok Sabha elections is in force.

The issue of Bhojshala is also considered politically sensitive. According to officials, in the letter sent by ASI to the local police and administration, it has been said that as per the order of Indore bench of the High Court, the archaeological survey or scientific investigation or excavation of the Bhojshala complex will be started from the early morning of March 22 (Friday). .

Dhar Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh has confirmed receiving this letter from ASI. He said that in view of the proposed survey of ASI from Friday morning, strict security arrangements are being made in the Bhojshala premises. Hindus consider the historical Bhojshala complex, protected by ASI, as the temple of Vagdevi (Saraswati), while the Muslim community calls it the mosque of Kamal Maula.

The Indore bench of the High Court had said in the order pronounced on March 11 that ‘This court has come to only one conclusion that it is the constitutional and legal obligation of the ASI to conduct a scientific survey and study of the Bhojshala Temple-cum-Kamal Maula Masjid complex as soon as possible. The court had given this order while accepting the application of an organization named ‘Hindu Front for Justice’. The next hearing in the case is to be held on April 29.
