Drugs worth four and a half crores recovered from two junk cars parked in the police station

Narsinghpur. A shocking case has come to light from Narsinghpur. Hashish drugs worth crores have been recovered from two junk cars parked in the police station here. Both these cars were confiscated about 3 years ago.

Now hashish worth about four and a half crores has been recovered from the trunk cover, gate and bonnet of these cars. Two luxury cars were being junked standing in Ganj police station of Narsinghpur for almost 3 years.

Both these vehicles were seized in the case of hashish drugs smuggling in October 2020. In that case, seven accused going from Nepal to Chennai were caught by the DRI team while smuggling hashish on the North South Corridor National Highway 44.

117 kg hashish drugs were found from the car of the accused. Since then, all the seven accused are in jail, they are residents of Kanpur, Chennai and Mirzapur. The accused party in the case had applied to take back the seized vehicles.

After this, the police got suspicious as to why the family members of the accused wanted to take back these junk vehicles. On this basis, after taking permission from the High Court, the police again checked the vehicles. Vehicles being scrapped started spewing out a stockpile of hashish.
