Former Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife diagnosed with stage 2 cancer

Chandigarh. The wife of Navjot Singh Sidhu, former president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, has been diagnosed with stage 2 cancer. Former Punjab minister Navjot Kaur Sidhu has shared the information through tweet after coming to know of her illness.

According to the news of Hindustan Times, Navjot Kaur has written in a letter to husband Navjot Sidhu that he is lodged in Patiala Central Jail for a crime which he did not commit. Sorry to all those who are involved in this. Waiting for you every day outside the jail probably hurts me more than you. As always I try to share your pain. I know that all this is very bad, but there is some improvement in it.

Please tell that Navjot Singh Sidhu is currently lodged in Patiala Jail in Punjab. After a Supreme Court order, he is serving a one-year sentence in the road rage case. Navjot Kaur tweeted and wrote, ‘She has stage-2 cancer and she cannot blame anyone for this, because it is God’s will.’

Navjot Kaur wrote in the letter, ‘You repeatedly pleaded for justice, but justice was not given and I waited for you. Truth is very powerful, but it tests you every time. It is Kalyug. Sorry can’t wait for you as I have stage-2 cancer. Surgery is to be done today. No one should be blamed for this, as it is God’s will.

Amarinder Singh wrote in a tweet, ‘I am very sorry to hear that you have to undergo surgery. But, thankfully, you came to know about the disease in time. I pray to God for your speedy recovery. Navjot Singh Sidhu is serving a one-year jail term in the 1988 road rage death case. He is lodged in Patiala Central Jail after the order of the Supreme Court. He was let off in 2018 with a nominal fine of Rs 1,000.
