New Delhi. On August 27, the last day of the World Athletics Championships, all eyes were on India’s golden boy Neeraj Chopra. Neeraj Chopra had made a brilliant entry in the javelin throw final with a throw of 88.77 meters in round-3.

This proved to be his best performance of the season. The gold medalist showed this spirit in the finals as well. However, Neeraj Chopra had stopped the breath of all the fans in his first innings.

Because his bet proved unsuccessful. When the turn came for the second shot, he came back and threw the javelin up to 88.17 meters. After his effort, the fans cheered and the stadium resounded with noise.

A close fight was witnessed between Neeraj Chopra and Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan. Arshad threw the javelin 87.82 meters away in his best shot. After this, Arshad remained ahead of Golden Boy in the third and fourth innings.

But could not manage to cover the distance equal to Neeraj Chopra’s first innings. Till the last match, Neeraj Chopra remained a contender for the gold medal and wrote another page of history. At the same time, Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan got a silver medal.
