NEET UG Result 2024: NEET UG re-exam result released, number of toppers decreased, no one got 720 out of 720 marks

NEET UG Re-Exam 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result of the re-NEET UG exam (RE-NEET UG 2024) for 1563 candidates. Students who appeared in the exam can check their results by visiting the official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.

Earlier, the final answer key of NEET UG re-exam was released on June 30 at 1:30 pm.NTA had earlier given grace marks to 1563 candidates in the NEET UG exam. But due to controversy, it was decided to cancel this grace marks and conduct the exam again. Out of 1,563 students, 813 appeared in the re-conducted NEET exam.

The exam was conducted again at the same 6 centers in the country where grace marks were given.According to Indian Express, NTA sources have said that none of the 813 candidates who appeared for NEET UG exam again scored 20/720 marks. Also, the number of toppers decreased from 67 to 61.

According to the report, five out of six candidates who scored a perfect score of 720/720 appeared for the exam again. They scored above 680 marks. According to the data, none of the two candidates from Chandigarh appeared for the exam. A total of 291 out of 602 students from Chhattisgarh, 1 student from Gujarat, 287 out of 494 from Haryana and 234 students from Tura in Meghalaya appeared for the exam.
