On no-confidence motion, Smriti Irani said- Manipur is not fragmented, part of my country

New Delhi: Today, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi gave a speech on the no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha. During this there was a lot of uproar in the Lok Sabha. During this, Speaker Om Birla also got angry on his speech.

On the other hand, after Rahul Gandhi’s statement, Union Minister Smriti Irani responded to the no-confidence motion on behalf of the central government. During this, Smriti Irani attacked the opposition a lot.

He said, ‘You are not India. Because India is not corrupt. India believes in merit not dynasty and today people like you need to remember what the Britishers were told – Quit India. Corruption Quit India, Dynasty Quit India. Merit will now find a place in India…’

He said, ‘For the first time in the history of the nation, there was talk of killing Mother India and the Congress party kept clapping here. The Congress gave an indication to the whole country as to whose treachery is in its mind.
