DM Manish Kumar Verma said that the schools have been given 10 days time. Action will be taken if the fees are not returned to the parents or the settlement is not done. Action of Rs 5-5 lakh will be taken for not depositing the fine in the stipulated time.

This whole matter is related to the fees taken in the session 2021-22 during the Corona period. The Allahabad High Court had ordered that all schools will refund 15 percent of the fees taken in the Corona period session 2021-22 to the parents. Even after the order, it was not being followed by the school management.

Some schools said in response that during the Corona period, they themselves had given 20 to 30 percent discount to the parents, so that discount should be included in the court order. In this regard, the District Magistrate wrote a letter to the government asking for information.
