Odisha: One day state mourning announced after train accident

New Delhi. After the train accident in Balasore district of Odisha, CM Naveen Patnaik has announced a one -day state mourning

According to Odisha Chief Secretary PK Jena, 233 people have died in the accident and more than 900 people have been injured in the accident. Also, many passengers are feared trapped in the train.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ordered a day -long state mourning, in view of the tragic railway accident in Balasore’s pretext on 2 June 2023 and therefore no celebration will be celebrated on June 3 in the entire state. ‘

Please tell that this accident occurred due to collision of Howrah Express, Coromandal Express and goods train near Bahanaga station. The collision was so terrible that 10 to 12 coaches of the Coromandel Express (12841) carrying passengers were destroyed.
